Creating Salla instance in odoo ERP software by installing the connector

Once you complete the installation, click to Core Settings –> Instance –> Click New.

API Token Details

You can get the API from your Salla store – enter the required credentials

Once you click on Get Token, it will lead you to the Salla’s Account Page – After providing your email and password for the specific store, you must authorize the application.

You will receive all the API Token Details once the application has been approved.

Refresh Token

After 14 days, the original access token expires, so you must click on Refresh Token to renew it. The new token now has a 30-day expiration date. Therefore, the token would need to be refreshed every 30 days.

Similar to the Get Token procedure, this one will take you to the Salla’s Account Page where you must provide your store credentials before approving the application.

Store

Once you click on Get Store Details, you can access all the information about the store for that specific instance by selecting the Store Smart button.

Import from Salla to Odoo

You can view every Import option available on the instance form itself.

Import Customer Groups

All of the customer groups from Salla will be imported to Odoo once you click the Import Customer Groups button. From the menu-items or the smart buttons, you may access the Customer groups.

Import Customers

All of the customers from Salla will be imported to Odoo after clicking the Import Customers button.

Import Brands

All of the brands from Salla will be imported to Odoo once you click the Import Brands button.

Import Categories

All of the categories from Salla will be imported to Odoo once you click the Import Categories button.

Import Products

All of the products from Salla, together with all of their variants and stocks, will be imported into Odoo after you click the Import Products button.

Import Order Statuses

All of the order statuses from Salla will be imported to Odoo after clicking Import Order Statuses.

Import Sales Orders

All subsequent Orders made will be imported from Salla to Odoo after selecting the date and clicking on Import Orders.

Update from Odoo to Salla

You can view every update option available on the instance form itself. These buttons have been developed specifically for doing multiple updates at once; a separate button for performing a single update has been added to the form view. I’ll provide examples of both choices.

Update Customer Groups

ets update the name of the customer group “Others” in Odoo to “More” and tick the box “To be Updated”. The customer group name in Salla will then be altered to “More” after you click Update Customer Group.

Update Customers

Let’s update the last name of two customers from “Abhay Pandit” to “Abhay Mishra” in Odoo, as well as “Adnan Baig’s” last name and email from “Adnan Baig” to “Adnan Mirza” and “adnan.baig@gmail.com” to “adnan.mirza@gmail.com”. Tick the box next to “To be Updated” in the form view.

Then click Update Customers on the instance form when you get there. The customer’s last name will then be updated to “Mishra” and “Mirza” in Salla, and their email address will be changed to adnan.mirza@gmail.com. You can update many fields simultaneously in a manner similar to that described above.

Update Categories

Lets update the name of the category “Curve Display” in Odoo to “Edge Display” and tick the box “To be Updated”. The category name in Salla will then be altered to “Edge Display” after you click Update Category.

Update Products

Lets update the name of the product “Cheese Burger” in Odoo to “Double Cheese Burger”, tick the box “To be Updated”. The product name in Salla will then be altered to “Double Cheese Burger” after you click Update Product. You can also update quantity, price, variants, etc

Export Functions in Odoo Salla Connector

You can view every export option available on the instance form itself. These buttons have been developed specifically for doing multiple exports at once; a separate button for performing a single export has been added to the form view.

Export Customer Groups

Lets create a customer group “Heads” in Odoo and select the instance. The customer group “Heads” in Salla will then be created after you click Export Customer Group.

Export Customers 

Lets create a customer “John Wick” in Odoo and select the instance. The customer “John Wick” in Salla will then be created after you click Export Customer.

Export Categories

Lets create a customer “Denim” in Odoo and select the instance. The category “Denim” in Salla will then be created after you click Export Category.

Export Products

Lets create a product “Realme 10 Pro Plus” in Odoo and select the instance. The product “Realme 10 Pro Plus” in Salla will then be created after you click Export Product.

Scheduler

You can also use Scheduler in Odoo Salla connector – navigate to Core Settings –> Instance –> Click Manage Scheduler –> A wizard will launch, allowing you to configure the scheduler.

You would then need to click on toggle button, fill the required details to configure your scheduler and then click on save. This will configure your scheduler and the corresponding operation will run automatically according to the provided configuration.
