Odoo HR Recruitment Process – An Overview
Human Resource management module and recruitment process in version 13 is another important app of Odoo ERP software. In this blog post we will showcase you how a recruitment process works in Odoo. Recruitment module is important function of any organization as it manages selecting proper candidate that offers you with proper talent recruited for the position. Odoo recruitment process helps you with better planning, proper selection & decision making for the employees you would be hiring for your business processes.
Odoo recruitment process offers you to understand the job vacancies in your company, analysis of the job requirements, application reviews, screening of employee, short listing, and finalization of right candidate for the position. As mentioned the first process is to identify the open vacancies. Odoo employee recruitment app provides you with reports, template, and powerful user interface.
There are various steps and flows that need to be follow in Odoo 13 for using recruitment processes. Although these processes can be customized based on your business requirement. Let see how the flow goes :
Installation and Configuration of Odoo Recruitment App:
The foremost part is after you install Odoo version 13 you can search for recruitment module in Odoo Enterprise edition (This module may not be available in community edition) once you get the recruitment app you can click on install button. As showed in the below image.
You can click on the recruitment module and see there are various job positions available. You can also create your own job position based on your company requirements which is showed in the below image:
As a HR manager you have already assign the job for Odoo developer and now you can track everything from the dashboard. You can also edit or change the status as you fulfill the position
You can also see the job position on your Odoo website by clicking on Go to website button.
If there is any Odoo developer who would like to apply for the given job position can click on Apply button as showed in the below image.
Once the applicant click on the apply button he/she can fill out all the detailed information such as name, email id etc and also attached his/her resume. After clicking on submit button the application will be submitted to the HR manager.
The applicant will also receive the message of application sent in Odoo.
Defining the stages of recruitment in Odoo :
You can create various stage of your recruitment processes as shown in the below image. As an HR there may be different rounds of interview which you would like to take to judge the capabilities of the applicant.
